19th INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM SPORT AND TELEVISION: FROM SCREENS TO ATHLETES With its many sports and events, bringing together the very greatest champions, the Olympic Games are the beacon of world sporting competition. The one success that will stamp a career is the common quest shared by all those who compete. But the achievements are not limited solely to the stadiums. Engineers, broadcasters, industry leaders and businessmen also seek success at the sharp end of technology. Their ambition: provide a larger and always more passionate public with the opportunity to share the magic experience of sport.
